What is an eye exam?
If you love your eye sight; eye exams are the best thing you can do for your eye health! It’s the only way to check for eye diseases early on when they are easier to treat, and before they cause permanent vision loss or even blindness.
During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will check your eyes for common eye diseases, asses how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
The Exam is Simple & Painless & Includes:
- A visual acuity test to check how clearly you see.
- A visual field test to check your peripheral (side) vision.
- An eye muschle function test to check for problems with the muschles around your eyeballs.
- A pupil response test to check how light enters your eyes.
- A tonometry test to measure the pressure in your eyes.
- Dilation to check for problems with the inner parts of your eye.
Are you suffering from any vision problems?
Even if you do not experience any of these symptoms, you should prioritize having your vision tested at least once every two years.
